Little Acorns from the age of 6 weeks to 2 years
Little Acorns is a little tranquil room where your baby can enjoy cuddles, floor play and early discoveries with people who are familiar with them.
Regular mealtimes establish a reassuring daily rhythm and support a secure environment, with morning snack at 8.30 am, lunch at 11.30 am and afternoon snack at 3.00 pm.
Around these, we address your baby’s needs, leaving time for playing and sleeping whenever necessary.
When you collect your baby, we’ll explain their meals and sleep, then update you on the small moments you missed, helping you share in their day.
Bright Blossoms between 2 and 3 years
At Bright Blossoms, inquisitive toddlers are warmly encouraged to try things for themselves.
At the snack period, pouring their own drinks and locating their named peg offer simple, manageable chances to build independence, while support remains available whenever needed.
We take the same calm approach to toilet training. We respond to your child’s cues and work with you to preserve consistency between home and nursery.
Minor accidents are just part of learning, so we never make a fuss!
Every day offers your little one a fresh discovery, and our caring service is available to help and guide them at a pace that feels comfortable.
Via songs, stories and everyday conversations, children gain the confidence to explore unfamiliar words. If you feel concerned about your child’s speech, our facility will work with you to offer the support they require.
When emotions become too intense, we support children identify, understand, and process them.
Mighty Oaks designed for ages 3 up to 5 years of age
At Mighty Oaks, we foster your child’s confidence as they get ready to start school and enter more formal education.
Everyday accomplishments, including putting away a coat or seeking assistance from an adult, help children build the confidence and skills to manage tasks independently.
Playing together helps children as they build listening skills, practise taking turns and resolve problems with their friends.
Stories, counting and early writing are incorporated into activities they enjoy, allowing them to develop these skills through playing.
Close friendships developed here often continue into P1, providing familiarity at that important next step.

A Montessori-style early years centre adjacent to Glenboig
Viewpark’s Montessori inspired approach cherishes the learning children uncover on their own.
We pair this with current early years practice, encouraging outdoor discovery, creative play and the ideas children bring to nursery.
Growing autonomy in childhood
Children are invited to make choices and play an active role in nursery life, helping to clear away after snacks and look after the environment around them.
We give them room to practise, offering support whenever required, until they find the confidence and quiet pride that comes from doing something on their own.
Outside recreation for each season
Throughout the year, youngsters head outdoors regardless of the weather, even our youngest infants.
Watching trees and sensing the grass beneath their feet gives younger children new details to discover, whilst older children can run, climb and dig freely.
Being able to move freely outdoors enables children to build their balance and coordination, while building confidence in their own capabilities.
Things can get wonderfully messy! Please dress your child in clothes appropriate for mud, along with outdoor layers suited to the weather.
Kindly label their belongings, and before they start, our staff are always ready to clarify what they should bring for their age.
